Reflections 1 Elgin Patt

1. Based on your understanding of facts and opinions, why do you think this is important to the world of reporters/journalists in the world of journalism?
2. How could the limitations explored in one of the articles be controlled?
3. What are some responsibilities of discerning readers?

1. If the reporters do not deliver accurate news, the readers would question their accuracy in the published news stories. Also, to add some action in the story, the reporters might add in some of their opinions as if the news was just said facts, it would be extremely boring to read.

2. They could state their sources clearly in order to prevent confusion and miscommunication. Also, the reporters should not disclose sensitive information as well as use vulgarities.

3.Readers should be responsible to point out mistakes to the publisher of the paper.
