This lets them know about the pros and cons of online journals. It also tells them that what they find on the internet may not be accurate as most people want to be the first to report the news but don't want to verify it before leaking the news.
2. How could the limitations explored in one of the articles be controlled?
Make sure that the reason for publishing news is for public knowledge, not for competition. Also they should also get the context and audience right. This way people who should not be reading the article will know if they have to avoid the article.
3. What are some responsibilities of discerning readers?
They should step out and clarify if there are any doubtful points in the story. This will help improve the accuracy of the story and will also help the readers.
