School Damages Parent’s Property

Orientation
Parents bringing their children to the School of Science and Technology, Singapore (SST) yesterday found themselves in a massive jam. As if the jam towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) wasn’t (was not) enough, the school bus and a parent’s car collided just outside the school, causing a worst jam.

Body
The accident, which happened at about 7.30 a.m., occurred when the usual morning rush was almost at its worst, causing an even more massive jam. Horns were said to be heard by residents of the nearby flats as drivers who were stuck in the jam complained about being late for work. It was almost thirty minutes after the accident before the ambulance arrived at the scene, followed closely by the police.

(new para)According to the paramedics, Mr Lim, the driver whose car was knocked by the bus, was not very severely injured, only__ with some cuts and bruises with no internal injuries. ‘One minute, I was looking out of my car waving goodbye to my child, and the next thing I know, I felt my car being pushed forward with great force,’ said Mr Lim. No one else was injured in this accident.
