1. Based on your understanding of facts and opinions, why do you think this important to reporters/ journalists in the world of online journalism?

It is important to reporters and journalists in the world of online journalism as they have to post the article up on the web immediately and they may therefore end up posting up the wrong info, and this may result in chaos or it will cause the readers to misunderstand the message the journalist is trying to convey, so they must find out if it is a fact or opinion fast and verify them before posting it up on the web to give the readers accurate information.

 

2. How could the limitations explored in one of the articles be controlled? 

Different online journalists can work together to ensure that the desire to publish brand new information and the ease of which it can be altered will not cause information to be made accessible before it is verified.

 

3. What are some responsibilities of discerning readers?

They should always be on the look out for mistakes that the journalists made, for example, whether those are facts or opinions, or their tense mistakes, etc. and if they find those mistakes, they can email the newspaper press to inform them of their mistake.
